Veterans Day Program

The Riverton Jazz Band will be performing at the Riverton City Veterans Day Program on November 11, 2014 at the Sandra Lloyd Community Center on 12830 S. Redwood Road at 6:30 p.m..  Join us in honoring our those who have served, or are currently serving our country in the military.

Summer Performances

We enjoyed playing in the Pioneer Parade today.  Our theme of Music: Bridging the past to the present truly represents us. Our band members range in age from the teens to the 70's.  What a fabulous opportunity for more experienced musicians to share their expertise and knowledge with those who have more recently found their love of music.  If you wish to see more of us this summer, you can listen to us at the Osmond Pioneer Days Festival at the Veterans Memorial Park in West Jordan at 8035 South 2200 West at 1:30.  Then you can catch us at the Draper Big Band Tribute on August 1-2 at the Draper Amphitheater (944 East Vestry Road).  Showtime both nights begins at 8:00 p.m. with a pre-show starting at 7:30.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased  here. Our final performance for the summer will be August 16th at the Midvale Harvest Days parade.  Hope to see you soon!

On November 11, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. we will present a Veterans Day Program at the Sandra Lloyd Performing Arts Center in Riverton.  Come help us honor the veterans in our community and families.

Join us this week at the Riverton City Parade on July 3 at 6:30 pm followed by a concert in the park.  Then watch for us in the Murray City Parade on July 4th beginning at 8:30 am.  On July 6th & 8th we'll be part of the Draper Arts Council Tribute to Big Band at the Draper Amphitheater.  Shows begin at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are available at Draper Arts Council Site.

Our next performance will be the Veteran's Program on Saturday November 10, 2012 at the Sandra Lloyd Performing Arts Center from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
